Refund Policy Lit Apothecary
Lit Apothecary started as an interest in learning how to make candles. On the back patio of a home in Florida the first candles were made, with no intention of selling candles. I simply wanted a nice smelling pine candle, and thought it would be fun to try to make one. So, of course, like many other people turned to Amazon for a candle making kit. Those first candles were pretty, but needed much refining.
After making several batches of candles the idea of selling them came to mind, and the name LIT Apothecary was born (after trying several different names that just weren't as appealing). Still, I thought this would just be a hobby. Little by little the business became what it is today with more products than just candles. Each product was born out of the wanting of the product and the belief that I could make it myself.
Lit Apothecary is growing every day....we are a couple years into the journey and there are still several ideas and things that I want to try. Stay tuned for the fun...
Our Items
All of our items are handmade, and several are made to order. We do usually keep a small quantity on hand, but if you want larger quantities the items will have to be made once you order. We strive to ship within two or three days from when you place your order, but larger orders may take longer.

Shipping Items
Lit Apothecary offers the following shipping options:
US Shipping:
Items other than wreaths: Flat rate shipping of $7.95 per order. Orders totaling $59.00 or more qualify for free standard shipping.
Wreaths: Wreath shipping is a flat rate of $19.95 per wreath.
Clothing & Apparel: Free US Shipping for all clothing & apparel.
Canada Shipping:
Items other than wreaths: Flat rate shipping of $15.95 USD per order. Free shipping offer is not available for Canadian orders.
Wreaths: Wreath shipping is a flat rate of $35.00 USD per wreath.
Clothing & Apparel: Shipping to Canada varies depending on quantity, but will be capped at a maximum of $15.95 per order.
Refunds & Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@litapothecary.com and send your item to: Lit Apothecary, 15017 N Dale Mabry Hwy #1158, Tampa, FL 33618.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Lit Apothecary, 15017 N Dale Mabry Hwy #1158, Tampa, FL 33618.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
